Welcome to our Yoga for Bladder Incontinence video, where we will guide you through a series of pelvic floor exercises, also known as Kegel exercises. You will be guided step by step through the demonstration, showing you the correct alignment and breathing techniques for each pose.
In this video, we’ll begin with a brief introduction, followed by my introduction. We’ll then get into how the demonstrated yoga postures specifically target the pelvic floor muscles and aid in managing bladder incontinence.
Through consistent practice of these yoga poses, you can gradually strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, improve bladder control, and reduce urine leakage.

“Prime” your core with a routine that activates all layers of the pelvic floor, and integrates the surrounding hip and core muscles. This deep core workout can help prevent accidental bladder leakage when done regularly (5 times/week is a great starting place)! If you have anterior wall or posterior wall prolapse, consider doing the isolated pelvic floor exercises lying down or with your hips elevated on a pillow or yoga block.
