If you are bottle feeding extra air can get into baby causing gassiness. To reduce ensure the bottle nipple is in deep (deep latch) and lips are flanged out wide. Also instead of keeping baby flat prop up their head and ensure that the nipple of the bottle stays filled with milk as you feed.
